Limited vinyl P pressing. release. What began as a one-off split 45 by songwriters Greg Cartwright (The Oblivion's, Compulsive Gamblers, Reigning Sound) and Coco Hames (the Ettes, Coco Motion) quickly evolved into The Parting Gifts/5(3).

Oddly for a title track, ‘Strychnine Dandelion’ is by some length the worst track on the album that bears its name, being part Vic Reeves pub-style karaoke, part diabetes hazard. Strings swirl, Cartwright gurgles like Joe Cocker.
