Tracks from this session are: Transeason, Rose Geranium, Level Seven and Smog L.A. If you are a die-hard Mingus fan this is an important album. If you are a casual jazz enthusiast seeking mids jazz, I recommend first checking out The Jazz Experiments of Charlie Mingus which is more in line with what was being played in the mids/5(3).
