Aug 20,  · Even without Peter Gabriel, Genesis continues to rock the world. Phil Collins is an amazing drummer, and he does a great job singing on this album. The use of keyboards is heavy in this album, and it gives it a great sound to it. My personal favorites on this album are Invisible Touch, Land Of Confusion, and In Too Deep.4/5().

Hit singles;Invisible touch,In too deep,Tonight tonight tonight (edit) and live favourite - throwing it all away, made Genesis a household name, and even quite ubiquitous for a time. The brassy and full on, Anything shes does - reminiscent of a Phil collins solo song (only a good thing - surely),delivers such optimism to the listener ie: me/5().

"Invisible Touch" - i.m.o. - is the most underrated album in the Genesis diskography. Most people compare it to the "old" stuff, which is simply impossible. And the most common association is the title track, which is a simple pop song, but it does its job, doesn't it?

Invisible Touch is, without a doubt, Genesis ' poppiest album, a sleek, streamlined affair built on electronic percussion and dressed in synths that somehow seem to be programmed, not played by Tony Banks.
