I spy a boy I spy a girl I spy the worst place In the world In the whole wide world Oh, you didn't do bad You made it out I'm still stuck here Oh, but I'll get out Oh, yeah, I'll get out Can't you see the giant that walks around you seeing through your petty lives? Do you think I do these things for real, I do these things just so I survive And you know I will survive It may look to the 4/5(3).

The album is a classic, this pressing is average: Heavy vinyl but significant rumble in the run in/off and quiet passages; slightly muddy overall and lacking in detail. Vocals lost on several tracks including Common People. Bass feels subdued, top end has no vitality. I feel removed from the listening experience - the old cd I have is more /5().

Helping a friend at his record shop, I heard Suede's debut album and got hooked into Brit music for the next 7 or so years. Although Suede was my favorite band of the era, this Pulp album was the best. An absolute masterpiece, the lyrics captured the mood of Britain- especially Common People which illustrates the hopelessness that so many feel/5().

Pulp set out to make the best pop album ever and they couldn't have succeeded any better. On top DC contains what is often referred to as the britpop antheme, namely, Common People. For obvious reasons. The song is catchy, but it's the lyrics and the way Jarvis Cocker .
