Aug 20,  · There's some classic Santana from his first 3 all classic CD's plus "love devotion and surrender" which isn't on the first essential collection, also the live version from Woodstock of "soul sacrifice". Did a good job picking some songs which aren't on first essential/5().

There were enough Santana compilations that preceded the release of this two-CD, song double CD that it was less of a remarkable event than it would have been had it appeared earlier.

We was Santana in concert six times in the '70s and '80s and he ended each one with Taboo and toussaint louverture. I appreciate some of the deep tracks in this mix, like Bella, but sorry, no Taboo, no Toussaint, not essential/5(13).
